Installation

Pre-Installation Steps:

Before installing Intellect  Hospital Management Software, ensure that you have met the system requirements and have the necessary access privileges.

Installation Process:

Follow the steps below to install Intellect  Hospital Management Software on your preferred server or hosting environment:

• Download the Intellect  Hospital Management Software zip file
• Extract the zip folder and upload the contents of the “upload” folder to the root directory of your domain.
• Create a MySQL database and user on your server. Grant user all privileges to the database.
• Run the installer by navigating to the install controller https://www.my-mebsite.com/install. For example if your domain is www.Intellect .com, you should browse www.Intellect .com/install
• Enter required fields to install the application. 

Post-Installation Steps:

After installation, configure the system settings, website settings, and perform any additional setup steps as outlined in the installation guide below.

From the website homepage, click on the login link at the top left header region to login. Login as super admin using the following credentials:

Email: [email protected]

Password: admin

While logged in, click the ‘Settings’ dropdown link on the left sidebar. Here you will see ‘General Settings’, ‘Logo & Favicon’, ‘SMTP’ and Mailchimp

• General Settings: This is the basic setup where you will fill in parameters such as System Name, Currency e.t.c.
• Logo & Favicon: Upload hospital logo and favicon
• SMTP: Setup you SMTP connection here so the app can send emails
• Mailchimp: You can setup mailchimp so visitor to the website can subscribe to your email list.

Website Settings: You have the option to enable or disable website. Here you have the general settings, Slider settings, and page settings. Configure according to your preference.

Other Important settings:

• Bed Types settings: You can find this settings under “Bed/Ward” dropdown side menu. If you allot beds to patients in your institution, you may want to define the types of bed in your facility.
• Department settings: Click “Departments” on the side menu. Here you can list all departments in your institution. Note, before you can add doctors, you will need to define all departments.
• Diagnosis Report Types settings: Click “Diagnosis Report Types” on the side menu. Here you can list all diagnosis report types your institution provides. This will be used when creating diagnosis by doctors.
